Registered Nurse / Operating Room Pediatrics Only

Job Summary:
Pediatric Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a short-term acute care facility. This role involves providing perioperative care exclusively for pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will possess pediatric experience and certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). The position requires flexibility to float between units as needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid pediatric state license, at least 1 year of RN experience, pediatric experience, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, BLS certification; minimum of 1 year of relevant experience and current pediatric certification required
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in an Operating Room (OR) setting with pediatric patients, proficiency with Epic charting system, experience with ambulatory/outpatient pediatric care, and perioperative nursing skills
• Additional Information: Must have a vehicle for this assignment. Travelers may be required to float to other units based on skill set; flexibility to float within the organization is expected. Certified in ACLS and BLS. Candidates must be able to work 36 hours per week on day shifts. Submission requires responses to past work at Providence facilities and references from recent employers covering at least 1 year. All applicants must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays and specify any time off requests during submittal.
