Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Floor at a healthcare organization. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a busy medical-surgical unit, working primarily night shifts. The position requires flexibility to float between Medical Surgical and Telemetry departments and adherence to established clinical practices. The assignment is scheduled to start on 10/19/2026 and conclude on 01/18/2027.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., 36 hours per week, including every other weekend, with floating between Medical Surgical and Telemetry departments.
• Required Qualifications: Recent experience in an acute care setting, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Cerner charting experience, at least 2 years of nursing experience, and completion of at least two travel assignments.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective care delivery and optimal patient outcomes. Medication administration is performed using bedside scanning.
