Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse in a shift-based role, based in the emergency department, providing critical patient care in a fast-paced environment. The position involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care utilizing nursing skills and clinical judgment in accordance with hospital policies and state Nurse Practice Act. The RN will demonstrate leadership, critical thinking, and maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 10/19/2026 and ending 01/18/2027
• Required Qualifications: Certifications including BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); 2+ years ER RN experience; no specific degree or education requirements specified; open to clinicians with pending state licenses
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The patient care team manages a unit with 12 beds, with a patient ratio ranging from 1:4 to 1:6. Scrub color is flexible, and no call or floating is required. EMR systems utilized are EDIS/Medhost. The position is a contractor replacement with no internal or special vacancy reasons noted.
