Registered Nurse / Post Anesthesia Care Unit

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a registered nurse specialized in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for a position located at a healthcare facility. This role involves providing immediate post-operative recovery care, monitoring patients, and ensuring safe patient transitions following anesthesia procedures. The position offers rotating day and evening shifts with a schedule of ten hours per shift.

Job Details:

• Shift: Rotating day/evening shifts, 10 hours per shift
• Schedule: 10 hours per day, with rotation between day and evening shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: No minimum experience specified; must possess current nursing license; BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; experience with pediatric and gynecological patients; dysrhythmia testing experience; CT or state license (VT license must be applied for upon acceptance); Cerner electronic medical record experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric and gynecological populations, Cerner EMR experience.
• Additional Information: Orientation sessions are held biweekly; schedule requests are subject to manager approval. Candidate must have their own vehicle as public transportation is not accessible. All employment gaps over 30 days must be explained or accounted for; incomplete or error-ridden profile packets will be returned for correction.
