Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a healthcare facility located in New York. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population within a state-of-the-art emergency department. The role requires delivering urgent medical interventions, managing trauma and illness, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Required Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid New York nursing license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross). A minimum of 2 years of ER experience is required; however, candidates with at least 1 year may be considered.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include evaluation and stabilization of illness and trauma, diagnosis and treatment of patients with urgent medical, surgical, dental, and emotional needs, and performing unit-specific procedures such as drips, infusions, phlebotomy, starting IVs, EKGs, transports, and med administration.
• The RN will float to the Emergency Department Observation Unit as needed.
• Prior travel experience is preferred but not required.
• Unit specifics include a 70-bed unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, accommodating a broad patient demographic.
• The position begins on 10/19/2026 and ends on 01/02/2027.
