Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Department

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in an inpatient labor and delivery department. This role involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, the Nurse will provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and their families. Effective communication of pertinent patient and family information to the health care team is essential. The Nurse will participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensure the implementation of appropriate solutions.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Must work every other weekend.
• Required Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient Labor & Delivery experience. - Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS (Basic Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications. - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. - Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. - Willingness to work weekends and holidays as scheduled. - Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. - Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient Labor and Delivery experience. - At least 0 years of experience in the role.
