Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
Med Surg (Medical Surgical) Registered Nurse position in a healthcare facility setting. The role involves providing nursing care for up to 10 inpatient rehabilitation patients, with the potential to absorb medical-surgical patients if volume drops. This healthcare professional will support a 10-bed unit, working primarily on nights, and must adhere to the specified schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with weekends, call, and floating requirements as needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 1 year of nursing experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, experience in rehabilitation or medical-surgical settings, and minimum 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other units for tasking, primarily within medical-surgical units, with existing competencies.
• Additional Information: The position involves providing nursing care in a 10-bed inpatient rehab unit. Patients require less nurse-intensive care, focusing on standard skill set care delivery. Scrub color is flexible with any solid color. The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used is MedHost. Assignment start date is 10/19/2026, with a scheduled end date of 01/18/2027. Blocked scheduling requests and 48-hour weekly guarantees may be accommodated. No week on/week off scheduling.
