Emergency Medical Technician / Paramedic

Job Summary:
Paramedic position in the prehospital care specialty located in Ottumwa, Iowa. This night shift role involves providing emergency medical services with a focus on patient care and response. The position is ideal for experienced paramedics looking to contribute to a dedicated ambulance team during overnight hours.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift with a total of 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Iowa or National Paramedic Certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support); 2+ years of experience; completion of paramedic program; location within 60 miles or greater of the assignment site.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prehospital experience is required; team player and patient care focused personality.
• Additional Information: No driving duties; hospital transport will be patient attending only. The role involves assisting in emergency department as requested. Uniform attire includes black or blue scrub pants with provided top, and black shoes or boots.
