Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor

Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor Tampa, Florida. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to patients recovering from neurological injuries, orthopedic conditions, and other complex medical issues. The RN will deliver patient-focused, intensive rehabilitation services within a state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation hospital, aiming to maximize patient function and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The schedule includes working every other weekend.
• Required Qualifications: Current state certification, Basic Life Support (BLS), Child and Adult Iowa Mandatory Reporters certification, and appropriate communication skills in English.
• Preferred Qualifications: Six months of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings, though not mandatory.
• Additional Information: The unit has 20 beds, focusing on personalized rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. Candidates must be cooperative and eager to be a team player. Scrub color is navy, and reporting time is either 6:00 AM or 6:00 PM.
