Job Summary
ICU Nurse General Healthcare Provider, Location unspecified. This position involves providing direct patient care in an intensive care environment, utilizing advanced nursing skills and clinical expertise. The role requires managing critically ill adult and geriatric patients, adhering to established protocols and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; Education Requirements: 2 years of ICU experience, valid CA State License; Shift: 3 nights per week, 12 hours each, minimum 36 hours per week; Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Required Qualifications: Valid CA State License, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, at least 2 years of ICU experience.
• Responsibilities include managing ventilated patients, arterial line management, assisting with chest tube procedures, administering emergency medications, and providing specialized care for trauma and stroke patients.
• Additional qualifications: Ability to interpret arterial blood gases, manage multisystem organ failure, and perform advanced procedures such as PICC line management and procedural sedation.
• Must complete onboarding labs within 3-5 days and provide 7 years of work history verification prior to start date.
• Experience requirement: 2 years in ICU or similar critical care setting.
• Preference for candidates with proficiency in Epic charting system and experience in a hospital environment with adult and geriatric patient populations.
