Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse - Night shift This position requires acute clinical skills and experience in Trauma, Emergency, and high-stress environments. The role involves supporting trauma patient care, assisting with emergency procedures, and working during night hours to provide critical care in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid certifications including TNCC, ACLS, BLS, and PALS; strong background in IV placement, emergent bedside procedures, and trauma care. Willingness to work nights and weekends.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with mass transfusions, advanced trauma procedures, and high-pressure patient management.
• Additional Information: This is a trauma nurse lead position in an emergency room environment during the initial primary and secondary survey period. Candidates should have experience performing procedures such as spinal stabilization, splinting, chest tube assistance, traction, central/art line placement, and emergency bedside interventions. The role involves working with specialized equipment such as rapid infusers, ultrasound, and advanced monitoring systems. The unit seeks professionals with strong critical thinking skills, capable of managing high-stress situations efficiently.
