Pediatric Clinic Nurse The organization is seeking a qualified registered nurse to provide general nursing care in a pediatric rheumatology outpatient setting. The role involves administering medication, assisting healthcare providers, and supporting patient education, ensuring high-quality care aligned with best practices.

Job Details

• Position Description: Provides general nursing care to pediatric patients in a clinic setting, administering medication, assisting physicians and healthcare providers, and performing patient assessments.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of a registered nursing program, Bachelors Degree preferred; RN license in good standing in Texas or a compact state; American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification; 6 months to 1 year of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting.
• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week totaling 40 hours.
• Preferred Qualifications: EPIC and insurance authorization experience highly preferred.
• Additional Information: The position involves providing evidence-based nursing care, utilizing assessment and critical thinking skills, and ensuring patient safety and education. The candidate must be able to perform unit-specific competencies based on patient care needs and comply with safety guidelines.
