Registered Nurse / Emergency Room Pediatric

Job Summary
Pediatric Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse in the designated location. The nurse will be responsible for providing immediate, specialized nursing care to pediatric patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries in the emergency setting. This role involves assessing patient condition, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care and safety.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Completion of a basic professional curriculum of a school of nursing as approved and verified by a state board of nursing; holds or is entitled to hold a valid multi-state or state of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License; BLS certification through AHA; PALS certification; zero (0) to six (6) months of related experience; effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; ability to organize and prioritize work effectively; ability to examine clinical and numerical data in detail.

• Additional Information: The position requires working directly with pediatric patients in a fast-paced emergency environment. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, documenting accurately, addressing patient needs, facilitating discharge teaching, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. The role supports unit/hospital goals through participation in educational activities and adherence to standards.
