Job Summary:
Endoscopy Lab Specialist position available in an acute care setting within a healthcare organization. This role involves assisting with endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety, and supporting the clinical team in a fast-paced environment. The assignment offers varied shifts with a focus on procedural support and operational efficiency.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift; 10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:00, with weekends as scheduled; minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association); minimum of 2 years of experience in endoscopy or related procedures.
- Responsibilities include intra-operative circulation for endoscopic procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, EMR, and hemorrhoid banding.
- Knowledge of endoscopy procedures and equipment required; familiarity with Epic electronic medical record system beneficial.
- Shift notes: Duration from 10/05/2026 to 01/04/2027, with a flexible response time of 30 minutes for on-call situations.
- Additional notes: Unit-specific orientation provided; knowledge of Epic computer system considered a plus.
