Registered Nurse / Telemetry

Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) Registered Nurse (RN) position available at a healthcare organization in Atlanta, GA. The role entails providing care to acute care patients in the emergency department holding area, with a focus on stroke assessment and management. The ideal candidate has at least 18 months of recent experience in telemetry nursing and holds a Georgia or compact nursing license.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Georgia or compact RN license, NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, a minimum of 18 months of recent experience in the specialty within the past 3 years, and the ability to care for acute care patients exclusively. Experience in emergency department holding area is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in stroke unit or emergency department settings is highly desirable.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position involves caring for acute care patients in a high-acuity environment, with a focus on stroke assessment and management. Candidates should be able to work night shifts and have a flexible schedule to meet operational needs.
