Registered Nurse / Operating Room Open Heart

Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart Nurse Location: Enclosed. This position involves performing independent nursing duties and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted standards. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as providing supportive and restorative therapy directly to patients or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others. The nurse will review and monitor therapy and treatment plans while documenting according to regulatory guidelines.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating Shift, 10 hours per day, with minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ASN or higher degree from an accredited School of Nursing; current RN license in the state of practice; BLS certification (American Heart Association); ACLS certification (American Heart Association); At least 1 year of relevant experience in operating room or open heart surgery.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree of Nursing.
• Skills: Surgical Instrumentation, Cardiac, Sterility, Nursing Care.
• Additional Skills: Health Counseling, Therapy and Treatment, Therapy and Treatment Plans, Documentation, Delegated Medical Functions, Patient Referral.
• Schedule notes: The position requires flexibility to accommodate a rotating shift and potential on-call duties.
• Submission requirements: Candidates should be prepared to submit current licensure and certifications.
