Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing urgent medical care in a high-volume emergency department. The role requires flexibility to float between units and hospitals within the organization to deliver critical services to a diverse patient population.

Job Details

• Position Description: Emergency Department (ER) Nurse responsible for delivering comprehensive emergency medical services in a highly staffed 24/7 environment. The ER is a 54-bed Level III Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center, treating over 60,000 patients annually. The team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Alabama or a Compact license, associated degree in nursing, and current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Minimum of 2 years recent experience in the emergency field; consideration given to 18 months of experience under high-level professional licensing.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, beginning on 10/26/2026 and ending on 12/26/2026.
• Additional Information: Willingness to float among units and hospitals is required. The position is patient-facing in a clinical environment, with parking available on-site.
