Clinic (No Specific Specialty) Located in the area, this position involves providing comprehensive care to patients involved in joint replacement procedures. The role includes facilitating patient education, coordinating pre-operative classes, assisting with recovery processes, and collaborating with the medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position offers an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to excellence in patient care.
Job Details
- Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with the opportunity to arrive later on some days.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor`s Degree in Nursing; current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California; current BLS/Healthcare Provider status as per American Heart Association standards; Orthopedic Nurse Certification from Orthopaedic Nurses Certification Board or other relevant specialty certification; minimum of four (4) years of clinical nursing experience including program development and implementation; recent experience in orthopedics; thorough knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC) Disease-Specific and other regulatory requirements; minimum of 4 years of experience recommended.

- Additional Information: Demonstrates advanced skills in patient and family education, disease process management, in-patient care processes and protocols, community resource coordination, and effective utilization of electronic health record software such as Epic, Word, and Excel. Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are essential. The role may require participation in joint certification meetings and related committees, along with providing pre-operative education classes and follow-up support for patients post-surgery.
