Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized emergency nursing care in a high-volume Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. The nurse will work nights in a fast-paced environment, focusing on patient safety, teamwork, and delivering respectful, high-quality care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 2 years experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in ER setting, teamwork mentality, ability to coach and give feedback in real time, flexibility to work in all areas of the ED. Certifications required before start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC (within 90 days).
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in high-volume emergency departments, familiarity with HCA experience preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • Hospital uses Cerner documentation system.
  • Must be open to floating to all sections in the ED.
  • Attending will be required to adhere to hospital-specific policies and unit guidelines.
  • No additional administrative or internal notes included.
