Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Department

Job Summary:
Lynden, Washington - This RN (Registered Nurse) position is based in a Labor and Delivery unit within a healthcare organization in the northeastern region of Nevada. The role involves providing care across labor, postpartum, and nursery services, with potential to float to other departments based on patient census and department needs. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a Level 1 nursery setting, supporting adult and newborn patient populations, with a focus on obstetric and neonatal care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications including BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); Associate`s or Bachelor`s degree in nursing; 2+ years of experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, or nursery; must be greater than 60 miles from the facility; located within 3 hours of Salt Lake City.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in nonstress testing, fetal monitoring, management of pre-eclampsia/eclampsia, hemorrhages, cesarean sections, neonatal hyperbilirubinemia, and infant procedures; knowledgeable, flexible, team player, hardworking.
• Additional Information: This position requires working in an LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) unit equipped with Omnicell medication dispensers, Baxter pumps, Masimo monitors, and GE fetal heart rate monitoring technology. The patient population includes adults and newborns, with a focus on antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal care.
