Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor nurse in an observation and recovery unit operating on nights shifts. The position involves caring for a diverse patient population in a short stay unit that typically admits patients for 24-48 hours. The assignment offers an opportunity to work in a modern, newly opened facility focused on timely treatment and patient care.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift
• Schedule: Nights shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• End Date: 01/31/2027
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification, at least 1 year of experience, including Level 1 Trauma Center experience in medical-surgical specialty
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a short stay or observation unit in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting
• Additional Information: This unit features 30 private patient rooms and cares for patients admitted under observation or recovery level of care, with conditions such as chest pain, abdominal pain, back pain, and syncope. Surgical recovery patients are also treated, focusing on areas like orthopedics, urology, plastics, and cardiology. Travel is not required, and float rotation may not be necessary.
