Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse (RN) position located in a fast-paced, 24-bed telemetry unit that functions as an extension of the emergency room. This role involves delivering compassionate care to a short-stay patient population focusing on hypertensive urgency, stroke work-ups, titratable cardiac drips, acute infections, cardiac assessments, and end-stage renal disease (ESRD). The assignment begins on 10/04/2026 and concludes on 01/16/2027, with a schedule of days shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: One year of travel experience, valid licensure, active license/certificate verification, and completion of Ascension skills checklist and profile; professional references are required
• Preferred Qualifications: Clinically strong RN with experience in telemetry, emergency care, or cardiac assessments is desirable
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The role requires a minimum of 36 hours weekly on every other weekend and holiday coverage as per unit needs. This position emphasizes delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care in a high-acuity environment.
