Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at a healthcare organization located in Minneapolis, MN. This position involves providing high-quality post-anesthesia care to patients in a busy surgical setting. The selected candidate will work across various shifts, including day and evening rotations, to ensure patient comfort and safety throughout recovery.

Job Details:

  • Unit: Pre & Post Operative Care
  • Desired Start Date: 09/28/2026
  • Contract Length: 12 Weeks
  • Schedule: Varying shifts, 10 hours per shift, start times vary between 0530 and 1100, with rotating days and evenings
  • Required Qualifications: Valid registered nursing license, 10 years of experience in a healthcare setting, pediatric or adult patient care experience, ability to work the specified schedule, and meeting educational criteria as required by licensing standards
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in post-anesthesia care, certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), and prior PACU or perioperative nursing experience
  • Additional Information: Call and weekend requirements apply. Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical skills in patient assessment, monitoring, and care documentation, with a focus on patient safety during recovery from anesthesia. No float rotation is required for this assignment.
