Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - Location unspecified. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a progressive care setting, ensuring safety, comfort, and effective treatment according to organizational standards and professional nursing practices. The role requires assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in line with clinical guidelines and patient needs.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, or a temporary/interim RN license or compact RN licensure for the current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Experience in the clinical area for which the candidate is applying is desired. Clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area must be maintained through annual validations.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor`s degree preferred. Professional certification and additional related education or experience are advantageous.
- Additional Information: The RN will assess patients` physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs; formulate and execute care plans; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams; and document all care activities accurately and legibly. The role may include supervision of staff and work flow, as well as participation in quality improvement initiatives.
