Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor

Job Summary:
Rehabilitation Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor Location unspecified. This role involves providing advanced nursing care within a state-of-the-art inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital. The nurse will support patients recovering from neurological injuries, orthopedic trauma, and other complex conditions through specialized treatment programs. The position emphasizes patient-centered, goal-oriented care to maximize recovery and independence.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with a start date of 10/19/2026 and an end date of 12/14/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification, BSN degree or higher, 2+ years of clinical experience in medical-surgical or rehabilitation settings, and experience with CERNER electronic health record system.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in step-down units, wound care, respiratory treatment, BiPAP, CPAP, and knowledge of neuro, ortho, cancer diagnoses.
  • Additional Information: The nurse will care for adult and geriatric rehabilitation patients, working on a unit with 62 beds, utilizing a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 6-7:1. No float rotation is required; scheduling may be on either floor of the unit. Scrub color is navy blue, with reporting times at 0645 or 1845. Parking is available on the side of the building.
