Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse position in a facility setting. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The ER RN is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients experiencing urgent and emergent health conditions, ensuring patient safety and effective treatment.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights
• Schedule: 12-hour shift with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice or a compact license; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; recent clinical experience in an acute care or emergency setting within the past 12 months
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor`s degree in Nursing; professional certification related to emergency nursing; additional education or experience in urgent care settings
• Additional Information: This position requires the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, utilizing clinical judgment and specialized nursing skills. The role involves direct patient care, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and documentation of patient assessments and interventions. Candidates should be prepared to work in a high-acuity environment, with physical demands including standing, walking, and lifting up to 75 pounds. The position may require multitasking and quick decision-making to respond to emergency situations effectively.
