Registered Nurse / Mother/Baby Couplet Care

Job Summary:
Mother/Baby Nursing in a facility setting. This position involves providing comprehensive care to postpartum mothers and their newborns, assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring optimal outcomes through patient education and support. The role emphasizes collaborative practice within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality maternity care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice or eligible for licensure, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of clinical experience in maternity, obstetrics, or labor and delivery nursing within the past 12 months.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor`s degree in nursing and professional certification in maternal/newborn care.
• Additional Information: Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for postpartum patients and their infants. Maintains documentation in compliance with organizational policy and regulatory requirements. Participates in patient education, collaborates with the healthcare team, and contributes to quality improvement initiatives.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
