Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Department

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical (MS) nurses are responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients on the medical-surgical floor. This role involves managing a variety of conditions, collaborating with healthcare team members, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. The position is located at a healthcare facility where the nurse may also assist with obstetric cases and will be expected to float to the medical-surgical unit as needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certified as a Medical Surgical Nurse (MS), with current licensure in the state where the facility is located. No minimum experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in obstetrics, labor and delivery, postpartum, and recovery is preferred. Ability to float to medical-surgical units when necessary.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position involves working with obstetric and postpartum patients, with duties including labor support and recovery care. Flexibility to float to med-surg units when obstetric cases are unavailable is required.
