Operating Room Tech / Sterile Processing Tech

Job Summary:
Sterile Processing Technician position in Lewiston, ME. This 9-week assignment begins on October 5, 2026, and offers a full-time schedule. The role involves sterilization and decontamination of surgical instruments and medical equipment, supporting the healthcare facility`s operating rooms and patient care services.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evenings, 3:00 PM 11:30 PM, with 8 hours per shift and a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications as required for sterile processing technicians, relevant education or training, and at least 0 years of experience. Location requirements are flexible within the specified region.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working in sterile processing or surgical support preferred.
• Additional Information: The position is a contract replacement covering the specified period, with a focus on maintaining high standards of sterilization and infection control. The role requires rotating call on weekends to ensure coverage during off-hours.
