Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) professional position based in Conroe, Texas. This role involves providing critical patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment, handling complex cases requiring ventilator management and cardiovascular support. The position demands a dedicated healthcare professional capable of working in a dynamic clinical setting.

Job Details:

• Location: Conroe, TX, in an ICU unit with 30 beds, equipped with CRRT, IABP, and Impella (not mandatory for contracts).
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS and BLS certifications; ICU experience with ventilator and cardiovascular drips; valid licensure; no minimum experience specified.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neuro procedures; familiarity with Thoracentesis, Arterial Line, and Central Line placement.
• Patient Ratios: 1:1, 2:1, and 3:1 depending on acuity and needs.
• Unit Policies: Dress code is royal blue scrubs; adherence to unit policies and guidelines is expected.
• Additional Information: The unit operates with a team of 2 charge nurses and 15 nurses, depending on acuity and 1:1 needs. Shift includes 4 weekend shifts per schedule, with no on-call requirements.
