Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position available in an urban healthcare facility. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care, including triage, critical assessment, and management of a diverse patient population. The assignment requires strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with 36 hours minimum per week
• Required Qualifications: RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (may be obtained after contract start), at least 1 year of emergency department experience, critical care assessment and management, IV skills, cardiac monitoring competency, and the ability to perform triage, assessment, and various invasive procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical records using systems such as FIRST NET or Cerner, strong assessment skills, and familiarity with critical care protocols.
• Additional Information:
  • Must include permanent home address on the submission.
  • Travelers must be more than 50 miles from the facility.
  • No call responsibilities, floating, or blackout dates other than the specified blackout for Labor Day.
  • Scrub color: Royal Blue.
  • EMR system: FIRST NET and Cerner.
  • Number of Positions: 1.
  • Position created as a replacement for permanent staff.
  • Start date: 10/12/2026; end date: 01/04/2027.
