Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in a healthcare facility. The role involves working within a surgical team to provide patient care during surgical procedures. The nurse will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other staff to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/02/2027
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience in operative nursing, prior travel experience in Orthopedics, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, or Endoscopy; valid licenses (e.g., RN license), BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; must have travel experience; no local candidates accepted; all travel submissions must include the specified experience and prior travel background.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a PWP facility, familiarity with surgical protocols and standards, ability to demonstrate critical thinking and leadership skills.
• Additional Information: The operating room nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for patient care in the operating room. Responsibilities include ensuring supplies and case timeliness, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgeries, and supervising personnel providing patient care.
