Registered Nurse / Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Summary:
The Cardiovascular Unit Nurse (Cardiac Cath Laboratory) located in the regional healthcare facility specializes in supporting cardiac catheterization procedures, including cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology (E/P), and peripheral vascular interventions. The role involves providing dedicated nursing care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety, and adhering to procedural protocols. This position is suitable for qualified Registered Nurses with a focus on cardiac care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, no minimum experience required, located within commuting distance.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab environment, capable of functioning independently, adaptable to a fast-paced setting.
• Responsibilities: Support cardiac catheterization procedures, monitor patient conditions, manage documentation in Meditech system, maintain compliance with SOPs, and ensure procedural safety.
• Additional Information: The unit performs procedures including cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology (E/P), and peripheral vascular interventions. Dress code is scrubs; color to be determined.
