Job Summary
Telemetry Nursing Specialist, located in Southern California, providing care at a leading healthcare facility. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients in a telemetry unit, supervising nursing staff, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Job Details

• Position Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor`s Degree in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor; 1 year of experience in telemetry nursing.
• Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Performs clinical assessments, develops and implements care plans, collaborates with healthcare team members, and participates in discharge planning to ensure continuum of care. Demonstrates proficiency with electronic medical record systems, specifically EPIC, and maintains adherence to organizational policies and standards.
