Licensed Practical Nurse / Long Term Care

Job Summary:
Long Term Care (LTC) licensed practical nurse (LPN) position is available at a long-term acute care facility in Baldwyn. This role involves providing patient care in a geriatric, short-term post-acute, ventilated, trach, and rehabilitative setting. The shift hours are days, and the assignment starts on October 21, 2026, lasting through January 17, 2027.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour days, 0645-1908, with minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), CLPN (Condensed Licensed Practical Nurse) with IV certification, a minimum of two (2) years of LTAC experience, vent management experience, and BLS (AHA) certification. ACLS certification is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience, especially for first-time travelers, and experience in facilities with over 400 beds or level 2 trauma experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The facility serves approximately 100 beds, with a patient ratio of 1:20. Nurse coverage includes a Nurse Practitioner on duty from 7 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, with ancillary assistance during day and night shifts. This position involves caring for ventilated and trach patients, as well as geriatrics, short-term post-acute, and rehabilitative patients.
