Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position located on [location unspecified]. This role involves providing patient care within the surgical setting under the supervision of the Unit Director. The RN will support direct patient care activities, ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures, and assist in maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment. The Clinical Leader or Charge Nurse will offer direct supervision during assigned shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current Maine RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications required within 30 days of hire. Bachelors Degree preferred. Fully vaccinated from COVID-19 per state mandate.
• Preferred Qualifications: Telemetry experience.
• Additional Information:
  • If traveler resides within 50 miles of the facility, a decrease will apply.
  • Up to 16 hours of orientation are unpaid.
  • The facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
  • Position is open from 10/12/2026 to 01/11/2027, with a start date of October 12, 2026.
