Registered Nurse / Interventional Radiology

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) RN position is located in an acute care setting within a healthcare facility. This role involves providing patient care during various Radiology Interventional procedures such as vascular interventions, neurointerventions, and procedures in imaging modalities like CT, MRI, U/S, and diagnostic studies. The nurse will assist radiologists, develop care plans, and record clinical data according to departmental policy.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts, 0800-1830, with call requirements of up to 2 days per week and rotating weekends.
• Required Qualifications: Active MD or compact state RN license, American Heart Association (AHA) certified BLS, American Heart Association (AHA) certified ACLS, 2-5 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in interventional radiology or related specialty.
• Float: Float between areas of radiology may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit has four interventional radiology rooms performing vascular, neurovascular, and body interventions as well as procedures in CT, MRI, Ultrasonography, and Diagnostic departments. Orientation includes one week, with one day in each area and one call rotation. A one-week non-billable orientation is provided.
