Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Nights, in a healthcare facility environment. This position involves practicing independently while providing routine and complex nursing care in accordance with established protocols. The role emphasizes patient assessment, treatment administration, and education, with a focus on delivering high-quality care across a variety of clinical situations.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 12-hour Night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred), current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification via AHA, and 0 years of experience in related nursing specialty or more
  • Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of experience in the applicable nursing specialty
  • Float: Float to all Medical-Surgical departments under the supervision of the healthcare provider
  • Nurse / Patient Ratio: 1:5-6
  • EMR Used: EPIC
  • Schedule: Nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, starting 09/28/2026, ending 12/26/2026
  • Additional Information: The role requires working 2 to 4 weekend shifts and on-call shifts rotated among staff each month. The position involves practicing in accordance with the scope and standards of practice for nurses, including medication administration, patient education, and documentation.
