Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) registered nurse position in an acute care setting. The role involves coordinating patient care for diverse patient populations in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality and safety are maintained. The nurse will work collaboratively with staff, physicians, patients, and families, adhering to organizational standards and demonstrating clinical excellence.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/28/2026 and ending on 12/26/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico registered nurse license or current Compact state license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from AHA; Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Advanced Trauma Nurse Course (ATCN).
  • Preferred Qualifications: CPI or De-Escalation certification.
  • Responsibilities: Obtain and record initial assessments, develop individualized care plans, re-assess patient progress, perform Point of Care testing, implement timely interventions, participate in discharge planning, and evaluate care outcomes.
  • Additional Information: The role involves helping hands during low census and may require float to different locations within the facility. The dress code is pewter or charcoal grey scrubs. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge appropriate to the patient population and communicate effectively.
