Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor

Job Summary:
This Nursing (RN) position is based on a Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor at a healthcare facility located in Gallatin, Tennessee. The role involves providing quality patient care in a busy hospital environment with a focus on orthopedic, post-operative, and trauma patients. The assignment offers a flexible schedule with guaranteed hours and weekend coverage, designed to meet operational needs and ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Education: ASN or RN; Licensure: Current RN license in Tennessee; Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS; Experience: 1+ years as an RN; Location Requirements: Must be located 60 miles or greater from the facility; Years of Experience: 1+
• Preferred Qualifications: Good assessment skills; Teamwork; Customer service
• Additional Information: Open to 48 hours guaranteed and weekend block scheduling. Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays. The unit is a 23-bed facility with patient ratios of 4-6:1, caring for geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients aged 13 and older. The role requires staff to be willing to float as needed.
