Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Oncology Floor

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Oncology (MS ONC) specialty position located at a healthcare organization. This role involves providing adult oncology care on a telemetry unit, focusing on bone marrow transplant, CAR-T therapies, and hematologic and solid tumor malignancies. The position requires adherence to clinical standards and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: RN License, BLS certification, Oncology background, 2 years current nursing experience, 1-2 travel assignments.
• Preferred Qualifications: Alaris pumps, EPIC electronic medical record system familiarity, Chemo Certification (preferred but not required).
• Patient Population: Adult oncology, bone marrow transplant, acute care, telemetry, CAR-T therapies, hematologic and solid tumor malignancies.
• Orientations: 2nd and 4th Monday of the month.
• Previous Employment with the Organization: Candidates with prior work in any capacity for any of the organizations facilities must have completed at least one year since their last employment to qualify as a traveler.
• Additional Information: The role involves caring for adult oncology patients, including those undergoing complex treatments like bone marrow transplants and CAR-T therapies, on a telemetry unit. Orientation is provided on specific Mondays, and candidates should verify previous employment status before applying.
