Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in the Los Angeles area. This role involves delivering specialized nursing care to critically ill patients, supervising nursing staff, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care in a high-acuity environment. The position requires adherence to established standards of care and the nursing process, ensuring patient safety and positive outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor`s Degree in Nursing (BSN); 2 years of ICU experience; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; facility-specific Basic Life Support (BLS); hospital fire and life safety (HLFS); EMR experience with Cerner
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include collecting relevant patient data, analyzing assessment information, developing care plans, implementing interventions, evaluating patient progress, and facilitating discharge planning. The role involves delegating tasks, coordinating with healthcare team members, and providing patient and family education. Commitment to safety and adherence to vaccination requirements are mandatory.
