Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse - Days Shift - Good Samaritan Hospital, San Jose, CA. This role involves providing urgent care within a fast-paced Emergency Department. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in acute care emergency settings, demonstrating strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must have at least 3-5 years of Emergency Department (ER) experience in an acute care hospital. Certify in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a charge nurse and prior travel or interim experience working in California.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves working in a 36-bed Emergency Department staffed by a varied team, including RN, CNA, sitters, and charge nurses. The department often handles stroke and STEMI cases, requiring competence in handling critical conditions. The dress code is Scrubs, with no specific color requirement.
