Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position located in a facility in Joplin, Missouri. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for patients during the labor and childbirth process. The assigned shift is nights, with a schedule of 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, and an expected minimum of 36 hours per week. This position necessitates a dedicated professional committed to patient-centered care within a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 3x12 shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; minimum of 1+ years of experience in labor and birth nursing; location in Missouri
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), particularly EPIC; patient-focused team player with a flexible, positive attitude; ability to float as needed, which is non-negotiable
• Additional Information: Flu vaccination and a Mercy-approved exemption are required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1, with client-approved exemptions only; unit has a patient ratio of approximately 1:5 with appropriate equipment and resources available
