Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Rehabilitation in a rehab hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized patient care to individuals recovering from neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injuries, amputations, or orthopedic injuries. The RN is responsible for delivering high-quality rehabilitation services, supporting patient recovery, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, from 6:30pm to 7:00am, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN licensure, high school diploma or equivalent, and no minimum years of experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in rehabilitation, medical-surgical units, or skilled nursing; excellent customer service skills
• Additional Information:
  • Unit is a 40-bed rehabilitation setting specializing in stroke, amputation, and medical-surgical treatments
  • Patient ratios and specific equipment details not specified
  • Use of electronic health records (EHR) system Epic
  • First day report time is 8:00am; report to Deanna Fish or Natasha Gappa upon arrival
  • Shift duration is 12 hours, with a weekly guarantee of 36 hours
  • This is a contractor replacement position
