Registered Nurse / Operating Room Open Heart

Job Summary:
The operating room open heart (OR OH) specialty position is located in an organization that requires experienced cardiovascular surgical support. The role involves scrub duties in cardiac, peripheral vascular, and transplant surgeries, including heart and lung transplants. The shift occurs during evening hours, with a schedule from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, Wednesday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities once a week and one weekend per four-week rotation.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evening shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, Wednesday through Friday.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications related to operating room scrub skills, experience with cardiac surgery scrub duties, applicable licensing or credentials, and a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Strong proficiency in cardiovascular surgery settings, experience with OR scrub checklist, and specialized cardiac surgery training.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position involves scrub support for cardiac cases, including transplant procedures, with a rotation for on-call coverage one time per week and additional weekend coverage on a rotating basis. The assignment duration is from 11/30/2026 to 03/01/2027.
