Registered Nurse / Post Anesthesia Care Unit

Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in a healthcare facility environment. This role involves providing comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to pediatric and adult patients during the immediate post-anesthesia recovery period. The RN employs advanced assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills to promote physiologic stability, monitor for post-operative complications, and facilitate a safe transition of patients to the next level of care. The unit manages a range of surgical procedures, including ophthalmology, otolaryngology (ENT), and head and neck surgeries, from routine outpatient to complex, highly specialized cases.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid license or certificate verification, relevant professional experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (minimum 1 year preferred), and submission of professional resume and references.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
