Registered Nurse / Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse position in a children`s hospital within a hospital setting. The role involves working on a 30-bed unit with an average census of 22-24 patients, providing specialized care for neonates. The position requires flexibility to float to pediatric inpatient, step-down, and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) units, matching skills to patients when floating. The start date is October 12, 2026, with an end date of January 9, 2027, and shifts are rotating in nature.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting from 10/12/2026 to 01/09/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid neonatal intensive care certification, degree in nursing from an accredited program, licensed and in good standing as a registered nurse, and one year of recent neonatal intensive care experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a pediatric hospital setting, knowledge of electronic medical records, and familiarity with pediatric-specific protocols.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: This position is for an ASAP start only, and work involves providing care in a specialized outpatient setting with a focus on neonatal patients. Candidates must be adaptable to various pediatric units as needed.
