Registered Nurse / Pediatric Floor

Job Summary:
Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) position located in New York, NY. This role involves providing specialized nursing care on a pediatric floor within a large academic setting. The RN will be responsible for delivering quality patient care, adhering to hospital protocols, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 11.5 hours per shift, with a minimum of 34.5 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor`s Degree in Nursing (BSN), New York State RN license in hand, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification, American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA PALS) certification, at least 1 year of experience in pediatric nursing within a Level 1 Trauma setting for 2 years of experience in specialty in the last 3 years, experience at a large academic or trauma hospital preferred, proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a teaching hospital, familiarity with pediatric skills checklists and acuity-based float capabilities.
• Additional Information: The position is within a hospital operation requiring staff to float to appropriate units based on skillset, with no float requirement for this specific position. The role demands professional attirenavy bottoms with white top or all white scrubs, with appropriate footwear. Interviews will be conducted via Voice Advantage interview, followed by nurse manager screening. Offers are valid for 48 business hours. The start date for this assignment is 10/12/2026, with an end date of 01/11/2027.
