Job Summary
Ambulatory Care Medical Surgical Skilled Nurse This position is located within a clinic functioning in the ambulatory care setting, focusing on providing clinical services, patient care, and operational oversight under the supervision of healthcare providers. The nurse will ensure quality care, maintain clinical competencies, and support clinic efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska; active Alaska license at the time of submittal; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; high school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred Qualifications: Urgent care experience within the last 2 years; knowledge of nursing process, customer service principles, and safety/infection control principles; skills in assessments, specimen collection, and equipment use; effective communication skills; ability to multitask, work independently, and be a team-player; willingness to teach, problem-solve, and develop good working relations
• Additional Information: The position involves maintaining clinical skills and competencies, overseeing clinic opening and closing duties, documenting patient care accurately, and supporting providers and staff for efficient patient flow. The start date is scheduled for 10/26/2026, with an end date of 01/25/2027. Candidate must have an active Alaska license at the time of application and proof of flu vaccination is required.
